COCKTAIL DRINKERS at new gin bar have been supporting Save the Elephants as they relax and unwind in the evening.
The Leafy Elephant, Wokingham have raised over £650 for the Kenyan-based charity by donating a portion of their profits from the sale of their signature cocktail.
A mix of Elephant gin, Marula gin, rooibus & caramel tea, vanilla syrup, lemon juice, a date reduction, and turmeric foam, ‘The Leafy Elephant’ cocktail has been a success with customers.
The family-owned bar in Peach Place decided to support their namesake animal due to their long connection with Africa and passion for wildlife conservation.
They said: “It is with great pleasure that this week we sent off our first cheque to Save the Elephants for £664 for the money raised since we opened in May.
“It is our with our greatest thanks that you have helped us raise this money; we are exceptionally grateful.”
