Contrary to first impressions, Bible and Beer Night it isn’t about reading the Bible.
The monthly meet-up, run by All Saints Church, offers an opportunity to explore questions about life, over a pint at the pub.
A church spokesperson said: “We so often hear, ‘I just want to find a group of people I can talk to.’
“This is exactly why we’re running this club.”
The group is designed to be a relaxed, welcoming space to connect with others, build genuine friendships, and explore life’s bigger questions—without pressure or judgement.
“You don’t need to be a Christian, you don’t need to have read the Bible, and you definitely don’t need to have everything figured out,” they added.
”If you’ve been looking for something like this, come along.
“We’d love to meet you.”
Anyone (18 and over) is welcome to socialise, meet new people, and get out of the house for a chat.
Every month, someone from All Saints Church will be there, happy to talk.
Bible and Beer Night meets at The Ship Inn, on the first Friday of each month, from 7pm until 10pm.
The next event is on Friday, August 7.
