A CHARITY working to reduce child poverty says it has run out of items needed by families in the borough.
First Days Children’s Charity explains that it has received requests from families in the community that it currently cannot support.
It says it simply doesn’t have the stock needed to fulfil these appeals for help.
The charity asks residents to kindly donate items that are clean, and in good condition.
It is currently short of: Brakenhale School Uniform (Year 7 starter), especially blazers, PE tops, and skirts.
First Days also needs baby furniture: moses baskets, bedside cribs, cots and bouncers.
And it is asking, too, for nursery items: cot and cotbed sheets, as well as baby toys.
Items can be dropped off at Seymour House, Denmark Street, Wokingham, from Mondays to Thursdays, from 9am until 4.30pm.
