A Finchampstead man who has been charged for five motoring related offences has been remanded in custody prior to a crown court appearance.
On Sunday, February 28, Miley Cash, 20, was charged by Surrey police following an incident in Ash and Mytchett.
Earlier today, Mr Cash, of Roycroft Lane, Finchampstead, appeared at East Surrey Magistrates Court in Redhill on the charges of:
- dangerous driving
- failing to stop for police
- driving whilst disqualified
- taking a motor vehicle without consent
- using a mobile phone whilst driving.
At the hearing, Mr Cash was remanded in custody and will now appear at Guildford Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 31.
Surrey Police reported this morning that officers on patrol in Ash yesterday saw a man using his phone whilst driving. They allege that the driver did not stop and made off on foot following a short pursuit.
