Former Reading FC player Charlie Adam has lost his job as Fleetwood Town manager 12 months after taking charge.
The League Two side find themselves in a relegation battle just a season after they were relegated from League One.
The Cod Army have been on a miserable run of form with just one win in their previous 11 league matches which prompted the club to make the decision to sack Adam.
Fleetwood are currently in 18th position in the table on 23 points from 19 games.
Adam spent a season in the Championship with Reading in 2019/20 where he played 21 league games and scored twice.
He faced his former side last month in the FA Cup when he took his Fleetwood side to the Select Car Leasing Stadium to face the Royals.
A goal from Tyler Bindon and an own goal saw Reading safely through to the next round.
