Ticket sales have opened this week for the Wokingham fireworks extravaganza.
The event, on Saturday November 2, will see an amazing pyrotechnic fireworks display choreographed to some great music in Cantley Park.
The family-friendly event starts with an atmospheric torchlight procession, led by St Sebastian’s Band, from Wokingham Town Hall to Cantley Field – where there will be a fairground and numerous food outlets.
The procession leaves at 6:15pm – or you can go straight to the field which will open at 5:30pm.
Chair of the Wokingham Fireworks Charity, David Gold, said “Despite inflation the tickets remain very reasonably priced, with children 7-and-under at just £1.
“Thanks to the people of Wokingham’s support for this community event, all the money raised is donated to local charities and deserving causes.”
Charities being supported this year are Debra – the butterfly skin charity, Keep Mobile accessible transport, Home Start Wokingham District and Samaritans of Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot and districts.

The clubs involved are: Easthampstead Rotary Club, Windsor Forest Unicorn Club, Wokingham Lions Club, and Wokingham Rotary Club
All of these service clubs have the objective of helping the community, and at the same time providing social activities for their members.
