A WOKINGHAM eco store that sells refillable cleaning products and foods, has been helping residents to live more sustainably for two years.
Now Maya’s Refillables, in Peach Place, is assisting businesses and their employees to do the same.
Maya offers a range of services for companies and their staff.
“We’re especially keen to work with catering, hospitality and health and wellbeing industries,” she said.
“We can help businesses swap some of the chemicals and products they are using for sustainable alternatives.
“For example, where lots of kitchen sponges contain micro plastics, we can provide environmentally friendly alternatives.
“and our professional eco range includes eco anti-bacterial products, citric acid toilet cleaners, and washing up liquids.
“Instead of using heavy chemicals, we can introduce businesses to a range of professional eco alternatives that comply with industry standards.”
Maya can also help businesses to raise sustainability awareness within their teams.
She can arrange to visit companies to speak with staff members at group meetings, and set up an on site mini eco-stall for them to see and order eco products.
Group orders can then be delivered to the work place, where they can be conveniently collected by the employees.
“Being eco-friendly doesn’t have to be more expensive,” she said.
“Group deliveries offer a nice incentive and service for busy people who may not have the time to come to the shop, or who work, but don’t live, in the area.”
Recently, Stables Specialty Coffee Co in Arborfield and Ola Coffee Co in Twyford have switched to using Maya’s products.
