POLICE have arrested two people as they continue a murder investigation.
At 10am this morning, Thames Valley Police revealed that a man in his 20s from Wokingham and a woman, also in her 20s, from Bracknell, were arrested under suspicion of murder last night.
They are currently in police custody.
The arrests are in connection with an incident that took place in Nine Mile Ride on Monday, November 5.
A man who was seriously injured died on the road shortly after 2pm.
The area where the body was found is outside a mobile home park and opposite a row of houses.
A police cordon is in place and the road remains closed while police continue their investigations.
Floral tributes have started to arrive at the scene and police said that the victim’s next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
Detective Superintendent Ian Hunter, Head of the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit, said: “We have made two arrests in connection with this incident, and are continuing with our investigation.
“I would like to still appeal for anyone with any information relating to this incident, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101, quoting the reference 685 5/11.”
