The countdown has begun for the much-anticipated return of Wokingham Party in the Park, set to take place in Elms Field on Saturday, June 1.
With a new line-up of entertainment and acts, the event is presented by Wokingham Town Council.
The event will start at 3pm with ABBA Fever delivering the hits that will have you shouting Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! more.
The party doesn’t stop there as Le Freak, a tribute band to CHIC and Nile Rodgers will have you grooving to the greatest hits of funk and soul.
Get ready to kick things up a gear with returning favourites Majestix and their high-octane rock and pop greatest hits.
This is a band whose dynamic and explosive approach to live music guarantees full dance floors and singing audiences.
As the sun begins to set, get ready for the grand finale with headlining act, the phenomenal Women In Rock.
Featuring soaring vocals, slick choreography, striking costumes and backed by a band of world-class musicians, Women in Rock has built a reputation as one of the most enjoyable and dynamic music shows currently touring the UK.
Visitors can also indulge their taste buds with an array of culinary delights from around the likes of Greece, India and traditional British faye from 12 traders.
Last year saw an attendance of more than 4,000 people from in and around Wokingham, with families and groups coming together to soak up the festive atmosphere.
This year promises to be even bigger and better.
The first act will be hitting the stage at 3pm, and the festivities winding down at 9pm.
