AN INVESTIGATION has been launched into an aggravated burglary in Wokingham Without.
Thames Valley Police have been at an address in Kingsbridge Cottages, off Nine Mile Ride since Saturday evening.
Residents reported seeing a large police presence over the course of the weekend, leading to speculation as to why they were in the area.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “There is an ongoing investigation into an aggravated burglary that occurred at approximately 9.10pm on Saturday, March 9, at Kingsbridge Cottages, Nine Mile Ride.
“Five men searched a property before making off.
“Anybody with any information should call 101, quoting reference 43240111584.”
They added that their investigation was currently in the early stages.
