PROPERTY: Nothing beats a viewing

IT is the first thing you hear on any television programme dealing with property – you have to view.

Yes, you can get an idea of a house from photographs or on an internet search.

But nothing beats just going on a viewing to fully appreciate what a property has to offer.

Nowhere is that statement more accurate than with this newly refurbished four-bedroom executive family home in the beautiful rural village of Arborfield.

Stand on the driveway and you get an instant feeling that this is a large house. This is somewhere you can relish the space, a feeling which is emphasised by walking round to the large, secluded rear garden with access gate to adjacent woods.

Decision made on plans for 111 new homes in Arborfield

The driveway has plenty of room for parking a number of vehicles – this is no neat and trimmed single car plot.

Go through the front door into the wood floored hallway, and you find yourself next to glazed double doors leading to an impressive lounge with patio doors leading out to the garden. The overall feeling is space and light, not a cramped little box of a room as in so many modern homes.

The theme of space is maintained in the generous kitchen. Not only do you have a well-designed kitchen which includes all built in appliances, but one where you could host a big family gathering. Alternatively, there is a separate dining room if you prefer something more formal.

Walk upstairs and enjoy the size and outlook from four large double bedrooms including one en-suite. If you like a bedroom where there is space for something other than just a bed, then you will love Barker Close. Even the most prolific shoe collector will find a home here for their treasures and there is still plenty of space for wardrobes or sideboards.

The family bathroom provides all that a busy family or couple could ask for and then some.

One of the other benefits of this house is its semi-rural location without being isolated Barker Close is located near local amenities, with easy access to the motorway network.

The house is also within the new Bohunt School catchment area and walking distance to the school and sports centre.

So, if you are looking for a well-designed, spacious property with plenty of room to grow, then make an appointment for a viewing. This is too good a property to let slip through your fingers.

It is offered to the market for £575,000.
