STUDENTS at a theatre school celebrated World Book Day with a show of their own.
Steppin Out Stars of Tomorrow held the event at its Woodley classes last Friday, and its Wokingham sessions on Saturday.
Each pupil was asked to dress up as a literary character.
Among the costumes were superheroes, Disney princesses, The Cat In the Hat, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, and Dalmations.
To take part, students were asked to donate £1 each, with proceeds shared between fundraising for the theatre school’s summer show, and for charity.
The students, all aged between three and 17, were able to wear the costumes while taking part in dance, drama and singing lessons.
It follows on the heels of a pajama day held last month, which raised £133 for the Daisy’s Dream charity.
