THE life of a soldier will be explored at a talk next month.
On Wednesday, March 23, Peter Must from the Wokingham Society will be giving an illustrated talk about the life of the Hon. Adam Williamson.
Mr Williamson was the owner of Montague House in Wokingham, and a soldier under the Duke of Marlborough in the war of the Spanish Succession.
He was also chief military commander of the Tower of London from 1722 to 1747.
The talk will be held virtually at 10.30am via Microsoft teams.
