Clive Jones, the Wokingham MP, has held a series of surgeries in Remenham, Wargrave, Hurst and Charvil to listen to the concerns of residents from the more rural communities in the constituency.
So far this summer, Clive Jones has held four village surgeries in the north of Wokingham, to give residents from the more rural parts of the constituency an opportunity to raise their concerns with their MP, and to make sure all communities are listened to.
At these surgeries, residents raised many issues with Clive Jones, including speeding and traffic issues, a lack of bus coverage in rural areas, delays to fibre broadband connections, trouble with insurance providers, and the well-documented troubles with parking at Twyford station.
He also helped residents get answers about their state pension.

After the most recent surgeries, he said:“Since being elected, it has been my pleasure to represent the whole of the Wokingham constituency, including the residents living in the more rural communities.
“The surgeries were an invaluable opportunity for me to speak to residents who do not live in the main towns, to listen to their concerns, and to see what we could do to help them.
“I would like to thank everyone who came to speak to me for time, and I will keep working to help residents across Wokingham.”
