A CHARITY sale will be held in Winnersh later this month.
It takes place in St Mary’s Church parish hall, Church Close, on Saturday, March 26.
It will be open from 10am until 2pm and is free to enter.
Pre-loved items including books, toys, puzzles, jewellry and bric-a-brac will be on offer, and there will be refreshments available.
Funds raised will go to SalGoAssist, set up by church members to help the rural poor of Andhra Pradesh in south India. The charity supports two orphanages and two schools in the town of Bapatla.
It currently needs to find sponsorship for 12 children, several of whom have lost one or both parents to covid.
