A WOKINGHAM town centre pub is offering a safe space for people to talk about one of the most taboo subjects in society today.
The Dukes Head in Denmark Street is opening its doors on Thursday, June 13 for the session, which will help people discuss grief.
An expert in tackling the ‘lonely journey’ will be on hand.
They say that while it isn’t a counselling session, there will be literature and advice on how to seek professional bereavement support.
And for people attending who are missing loved ones, there will be a memory tree set up so people can write message.
The event runs from 10am and the pub will have the kettle on.
