A WOODLEY church is opening its doors to the community for an Eco Open Afternoon.
The event at St James Church will offer an array of activities to enjoy, with workshops, eco stalls, information stalls, a children’s trail, and family activities for all.
A photographic competition on the theme of ‘wild and wonderful’ will also give visitors the opportunity to choose their favourite for the People’s Choice Award.
Visitors can bring unwanted blister packs, pens, ink cartridges and bras to the event as a recycling corner will be collecting all these items.
Cakes and refreshments will be available from the St James Cafe.
The Eco Open Afternoon will take place at St James Church Centre, Kingfisher Drive, on Saturday, October 18.
Doors will be open from 2pm until 4.30pm.
