People from across Wokingham borough have successfully managed to Beat the Street.
The giant active travel competition that has turned Wokingham, Woodley, Twyford, Wargrave, Arborfield, Winnersh, Hurst and Finchampstead into a real-life walking, cycling and running game has ended after six weeks.
This year, Beat the Street in Wokingham saw 14,036 people walk, cycle and roll for points and prizes and together clock up a community mileage of 163,680 active travel miles.
The community’s achievement also means that Wokingham Foodbank will be presented with a cheque for £500.

Participants are now in with a chance of winning a £100 Asda voucher or £50 Lego set by giving feedback on the impact of the Beat the Street Wokingham game.
