Wokingham Town got their league season underway in the best possible way on Tuesday evening, winning 1-5 at Holyport.
The Combined Counties League Premier North team produced a devastating performance after going a goal down against the run of play after 19 minutes, with goals from Sean Moore (2), Ty Moorcroft (2), and Money Mills-Chandler.
Town now look forward to a Friday night (August 1) under the lights at Lowther Road in Emmbrook, when they entertain Western League Division One side Brislington (8pm kick-off) in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup.
Town go into the match full of confidence against their Bristol-based opponents who have lost their opening two league matches.
If Town avoid a reply, they will travel to Slough to face Virginia Water next Tuesday evening.
