Earley Town Council has reinstalled three owl boxes at Maiden Erlegh Nature Reserve.
These owl boxes, which were locally made and donated to the reserve a few years ago, provide a home for species such as tawny owls.
Unfortunately, the boxes had fallen as the ropes holding them had weathered over time.
With the help of tree surgeons, the town council’s park rangers have now reinstalled the boxes using weather-resistant ropes.
This effort has once again made the boxes a safe haven for our wildlife.
