A teenage boy has been found dead at a property in Wokingham, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to an address in Windmill Close, near Woosehill, after concerns were raised for the welfare of a young person.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thames Valley Police said the death is currently being treated as unexplained, but officers do not believe there is any wider risk to the public.
A cordon was put in place while enquiries were carried out and forensic officers examined the scene.
Police said the boy’s next of kin had been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A spokesperson for the force said investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death were ongoing.

“Sadly the body of a man in his late teens was found. His next of kin have been made aware and are being supported by officers. Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
