Wokingham borough council’s new decision-making executive committee was unveiled last week at the annual council meeting.
The executive is responsible for all strategic decision-making, apart from matters reserved for the full council.
The new executive is:

Cllr Stephen Conway: leader of the council and executive member for housing, partnerships and the Local Plan.

Cllr Prue Bray: deputy leader and executive member for children’s services.

Cllr Mark Ashwell: executive member for economic development, sport, leisure, countryside and the arts.

Cllr Stephen Newton: executive member for refuse and recycling.

Cllr David Hare: executive member for adult services, health and wellbeing.

Cllr Imogen Shepherd-Dubey: executive member for finance and governance.

Cllr Rachel Bishop-Firth: executive member for resident services, inclusion and fighting poverty.

Cllr Adrian Betteridge: executive member for active travel, transport and highways.

Cllr Lou Timlin: executive member for climate emergency, community safety and public protection.
