MUSIC from the James Bond films, along with some Disney favourites form the programme to Woodley Concert Band’s spring concert taking place later this month.
This is the group’s 50th anniversary year, and to celebrate it has given its musical director Claire Lawrence a blank canvas to create an evening to remember.
The programme will also feature Bernstein’s Overture to Candide, and original wind band music from Philip Sparke.
It takes place at Bulmershe School Theatre in Chequers Way, Woodley from 7pm on Saturday, March 16.
Tickets cost £14, £12 for over 65s, and £5 for under 16s. People who have never attended a Woodley Concert Band event before can apply for free tickets.
