A SELF-ADVOCACY group for people with learning disabilities in the Wokingham Borough will be taking a short break for Christmas on December 20.
CLASP Wokingham will be closed from Thursday, December 21 through to Thursday, January 4.
Until then, the group has a sleigh load of weekly activities planned for its members.
Regular sessions of Movie Mates, the Coffee Shop, Dancing to Music, Happy and Healthy sports, Craft Club, and Evening Drop-ins continue until the Christmas break.
Members can also enjoy Active Sessions, Puzzle Club and Choir, and a disabled swim time at Wokingham Leisure Centre.
Free seated exercise classes with Frankie also continue at Nuffield Gym, and Wokingham restaurant Sedero Lounge Drop-ins can be enjoyed on Wednesdays, from 6pm until 8pm.
Take Notice sessions, held on Fridays from 10am until noon, are now finished for the year, but the Choir will sing on Saturday, December 9, and Sunday, December 10.
Seated exercise with Frankie Cohen takes place at Nuffield Health in the Wokingham Plaza on Tuesdays, from 1pm to 1.30pm.
Disabled swim sessions lasting one hour, are at:
Wokingham Leisure Centre on Mondays and Fridays at 2pm,
Lodden Valley Leisure Centre on Tuesdays at 11am, and
Bulmershe Leisure Centre on Wednesdays at 1pm.
Swim sessions cost £1.70 with no charge for carers.
Coffee Shop Drop-ins at The Bradbury Centre are always popular, and take place on Tuesdays from 10am until noon.
A special Christmas Coffee Shop Drop-in there, on December 19, will include a Christmas jumper competition, a nativity performance, and Christmas Bingo.
The first CLASP session of the new year will be Take Notice, on Friday, January 5.
