FAMILIES wanting to take the train through the woods should make their way to Wokingham.
Pinewood Miniature Railway can be found at Pinewood Centre, where it runs for nearly half a mile through local woodland.
The fun family activity is open for rides on the third Sunday of each month through to October.
Trains run from 1.30pm to 4pm, with departures every few minutes.
There is no need to book, and people can turn up on the day to purchase single rides or multi tickets.
The next event is on Sunday, August 17.
Single tickets cost £1.50 each, or £5 for 4 rides (save £1), with children under three years travelling free of charge.
