Finchampstead’s Gareth Ainsworth and his band The Cold Blooded Hearts are set to launch a debut studio album.
Formed in 2015, The Cold Blooded Hearts is a classic rock influenced rock ‘n roll band fronted by the Queens Park Rangers manager along with guitarist and songwriter Lee-Van Sergeant, drummer Luke ‘Chalky’ Sergeant and bass guitarist Ron Campbell.
Lee and Gareth have been playing music together for more than 20 years, forming Dog Chewed The Handle in 2004, with Luke joining on drums a couple of years later and making their name as an energetic live act with a huge sound.
The Cold Light Of Day is the group’s debut album and encapsulates their many years of writing music together. The album has been produced by legendary keyboardist and member of Yes, Geoff Downes who has also produced for Mike Oldfield, Greg Lake and Thompson Twins.
The 11-track album is available on CD, vinyl, streaming and download from July 21.
