ST CRISPIN’S School is overjoyed with its 2019 GCSE results, as 85% of students achieved grades 9 to 7 in Maths.
Headteacher Ginny Rhodes said: “I am absolutely delighted for our students and their families. These are an exceptional set of results in a time of increased demand and challenge.”
Known as a centre for STEM topics (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), the school had great success in Engineering, with 100% of students achieving Distinction* to Pass grades.
94% of Computer Science students took home grades 9 to 4, while in English, 80% of students achieved grades 9 to 4.
The school students did exceptionally well in the language subjects, French, German, Polish and Spanish too.
Dominic Grahams achieved 10 GCSEs at grade 9, the highest grade available. He said: “I wasn’t expecting it, but I am so pleased. I’ve got 9s in everything!” Dom will soon be heading off to Farnborough College to study Maths, Physics, Further Maths and German.
Emily Andrews also collected an impressive set of results, and will be joining Dom at Farnborough College next month. She achieved six 9s, three 8s and one grade 7, and said she was “really happy”.
Charlotte Addy received 10 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, and exceeded her own expectations with her results.
Fynn Jordan will be staying at St Crispins, and was excited to see he had received 9s in all three sciences, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Other high flyers include Stanley Hamblin, Freya Harrod, Joe Reddin, Rachael Stevenson and Jaime Heredia, who all took home 10 GCSEs graded between 9 and 7.
