Hull City have made a decision on the future of former Reading FC manager Ruben Selles following the end of the Championship season.
Selles took over at the Tigers in December and managed to keep them in the Championship as they secured survival on the final day with a draw at Portsmouth which meant they stayed above Luton Town on goal difference.
However, it now appears that the Hull City board have made the decision to sack Selles.
The board and owner Acun Medya are said to be unhappy with the team’s form despite them surviving the drop.
Medya has become an unpopular figure among the Hull fans having gone through three managers in the past 12 months.
Having missed out on play-offs by just one place in the 2023/24 season, Hull sacked young manager Liam Rosenior.
They will now be looking for another new boss with Selles to be relieved of his duties.
Selles was manager at Reading for 18 months and had the Royals in 6th position in League One when he left to join Hull having done an impressive job in very tough circumstances.
