A BOROUGH church is looking for people to join its staff team.
Finchhampstead Baptist Church, at the FBC Centre on Gorse Ride, is a community focussed, family friendly church.
It runs a number of events and activities for all ages, and currently seeks new members of staff to fill several roles.
Lead pastor Chris Simpkins says: “We’re a church at the heart of the community.
“Our staff team exists to help us to connect with them, and to make this a better place and experience for them.
“So we’re looking for people to help lead our team, and all the projects that we run to support and love our community.
“Some roles are administrative, working with our volunteers.
“Others support our children and families.
“And we’re looking for a treasurer to help with finance.”
Around 150 adults come to FBC each Sunday, along with 70 children.
“Our impact on the community is big,”says Chris.
“We see a large number of people, and we are able to make a big difference to people’s lives.
“We’re open and friendly, and we do our best to spot and remove any unnecessary obstacles that get in the way of people connecting with and discovering faith.”
