Police will have a visible presence across Henley-on-Thames throughout the Henley Royal Regatta to help keep visitors safe.
Neighbourhood officers from Thames Valley Police in Berkshire and Oxfordshire will be carrying out high-visibility patrols during the event.
They will be supported by mounted officers, armed response vehicles and Project Servator deployments, which are designed to deter crime and provide reassurance to the public.
The force said it is continuing to work closely with event security teams and partner organisations throughout the regatta.
Officers are urging people attending the event to remain aware of their surroundings, keep a close eye on their belongings and report anything suspicious to police.
Anyone with concerns can speak to an officer, call 101 for non-emergencies or dial 999 in an emergency.
Thames Valley Police said the increased presence is aimed at helping ensure the annual rowing event remains “safe and welcoming” for everyone attending.
