A NEW monthly meet up has been launched by a Wokingham church.
Bible and Beer Night is run by All Saints Church, and contrary to first impressions, it isn’t about reading the Bible.
“ ‘I just want to find a group of people I can talk to’ – We hear that more than you’d think,” said a church spokesperson.
“This is exactly why we’re starting this new club.”
The new group is designed to be a relaxed, welcoming space to connect with others, build genuine friendships, and explore life’s bigger questions—without pressure or judgement.
“You don’t need to be a Christian, you don’t need to have read the Bible, and you definitely don’t need to have everything figured out,” the spokesperson said.
”If you’ve been looking for something like this, come along.
“We’d love to meet you.”
Anyone (18 and over) is welcom to socialise, meet new people, and get out of the house for a chat.
Every month, someone from All Saints Church will be there, happy to talk.
Bible & Beer Night meets at The Ship Inn on the first Friday of each month, from 7pm until 10pm.
The first event launches on Friday, June 5.
