BUSINESS leaders, charity representatives and members of local government will meet for breakfast in Wokingham’s Town Hall.
Over coffee and a range of breakfast temptations, they will highlight the importance of arts and culture in fostering collaboration between local businesses and the wider community.
Wokingham Positive Difference is a community endeavour organised by a cross-sector committee, that brings together business, government and the voluntary sector for monthly discussion breakfasts.
Events include talks, specialist workshops, discussion around community concerns, and social meets, with the group providing a networking forum for business leaders to meet, share insights and do business.
This month at their Festive Networking event, the spotlight is on Arts and Culture, when the morning will feature presentations from local artists, musicians, and creators, as well as showcasing local talent.
The group offers a warm and friendly welcome to visitors and new attendees, and aims to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
Attendees can network over a buffet breakfast and share updates or promote initiatives during the popular From the Floor segment.
Wokingham Positive Difference wants its networking group this month to inspire partnerships and to promote a vibrant arts scene across the Thames Valley.
Business professionals eager to explore how the arts can inspire innovation, and members of the creative community looking to raise awareness of their work, are all welcome.
The event will take place at Wokingham Town Hall, on Friday, December 13, at 8am.
Tickets cost £25, including a buffet breakfast.
Booking is essential and places are limited.
