ANYONE thinking about switching to an electric vehicle or e-bike should make their way to Elms Field in July.
The town centre park will host a free rEVolution electric vehicle and e-bike event.
Visitors will be able to see a wide range of electric vehicles, speak to dealers and suppliers, test ride e-bikes and get advice on charging options, incentives and maintenance.
The Energy Saving Trust will also be onsite to share guidance on energy saving and lower-carbon travel.
Reading Buses’ electric bus will be onsite, and people can find out about Wokingham Borough Council’s electric cargo bike hire scheme.
For people bringing their bikes to the event, Thames Valley Police will be offering free bike security marking, and Dr Bike will be offering cycle maintenance checks.
Families can also follow an EV and e-bike trail .
The event is open to everyone and there is no need to book in advance.
Dr Bike maintenance checks must be booked separately.
The free rEVolution electric vehicle and e-bike event takes place at Elms Field,Wokingham, on Saturday, July 4, from 10am until 2pm.
