The Berks & Bucks Football Association (BBFA) is set to take on the day-to-day management of the buildings and grass pitches at Cantley Park in Wokingham.
The new partnership between Wokingham borough council and the county football association will begin this month.
The park will remain open and accessible to residents as usual, with a refreshed pavilion café re-opening in time for the summer season.
BBFA will oversee the operation and development of the site, working to enhance the quality of facilities, increase participation opportunities, and ensure the park continues to meet the needs of the local community.
Cantley Park on Twyford Road is home to seven grass football pitches, as well as astroturf pitches, nine tennis courts, six changing rooms and pavilion with rooms for community hire.
The wider site, which is home to South Berkshire Hockey Club, as well as a host of other sports clubs including tennis and archery, will continue to be maintained by the council.
The football pitches on the site will be managed by BBFA.
