A man has been reported to court for shoplifting following a police operation at Bracknell town centre on Monday afternoon.
Officers from Thames Valley Police’s neighbourhood team carried out a plain-clothed operation targeting retail crime at The Lexicon.
During the patrols, one man was reported to court for shoplifting, while a person under the age of 18 was issued with a Community Resolution.
Police also seized an e-scooter and carried out a number of stop-and-searches as part of the operation.
The force said the proactive patrols form part of its ongoing efforts to tackle shoplifting and other retail crime in the town centre.
Officers urged members of the public to continue reporting suspicious activity to help keep communities safe.
