A BOROUGH film club will screen the true story of an inspirational teacher willing to explore new ways to engage his students.
In a Mexican border town plagued by neglect and corruption, the future is uncertain for a class of young people, until a frustrated teacher tries a radical new method to unleash their curiosity, their potential, and maybe even their genius.
Radical, shown with English subtitles, is a heart warming story revealing the power of creative education to change lives.
Based on a true story, the film was Festival Favorite at the Sundance Film Festival.
Radical can be seen at The Whitty Theatre, Luckley Road, on Thursday, January 9.
Doors open at 6.45pm, with the film starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £4 for members, and £6.50 for non-members.
