Wokingham Bikeathon is back at Cantley Park in Wokingham on Sunday, June 22, with entries now open.
There are four routes on the day, from 15 to 51 miles, depending on what you’re comfortable with.
There will be drink stops and toilets on all the routes. There’s also refreshments, other activities and attractions on site at Cantley Park on Twyford Road for the start and end of each route.
The event has been running for almost 20 years, with thousands of riders taking part each time.
The event is now open to register for cyclists of all ages, £20 for adults and £5 for children (with a fee-paying adult). This year, the Wokingham Bikeathon is raising money for The Cowshed, a local charity which helps people in crisis.
If you feel unable to pay this cost for any reason, email enquiries@wokinghambikeathon.co.uk. The organisers want to remove barriers to cycling, so while needing to cover costs, they don’t want that to stop anyone taking part.
The My Journey Wokingham team will be there with their smoothie bike, and stand for active travel advice and leaflets.
